Springfield Innovation Inc. Services

 

The Jordan Valley Innovation Center will meet its mission by building on existing business outreach activities at Missouri State University and those available in the Springfield area.

Springfield Innovation, Inc. will have access to a wide network of business support services.  This network will provide clients with access to:

    Financing
    New markets
    Technical assistance
    Education and training

Partner organizations include the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce and other regional chambers of commerce, the Springfield Business & Development Corporation, City of Springfield, the Small Business Development Center, the Management Development Institute, and other existing agencies that provide business support services. These include, but are not limited to:

    Missouri Enterprise
    U.S. Small Business Administration
    Missouri Department of Economic Development
    Missouri Department of Agriculture
    Missouri Secretary of State's Office
    Greater Ozarks International Trade Association
    Private Companies
    Local Financial Institutions
    Procurement Technical Assistance Program

A company or entrepreneur can spend a great deal of valuable time trying to find the services they need, and they need access to more than one organization to meet their needs. Springfield Innovation, Inc. will assist these clients with a network of service providers to maximize the expertise of the service providers and expedite the time invested by the entrepreneur. This service will eliminate the need to develop duplicate services, create and reinforce effective partnerships, and pull together the resources needed to make the business a success.

In addition to delivering business services, Springfield Innovation, Inc. will link involvement with non-profits, educational institutions, economic development organizations, local chambers of commerce, and governmental agencies to raise the community awareness on ways to assist entrepreneurs, and educate organizations on the network of services to increase client referrals.
